What We Do: Our Mission & Core Purpose
NLS is an advocate and fundraising resource focused on illuminating good works in Marin that may not otherwise be mainstream or widely showcased, with profound impact to us personally.

Why We Exist: Our Core Ideology
We gain strength from what we endure and at some time all of us either have or will be touched by life's "tipping points". Having survived such obstacles, it is our obligation to help others in like circumstance and give back to those who "saved
us from the brink".

How We Work: Some Examples
Events such as wine tastings, high teas, dinner concerts. Education through speakers, webinars, PSA's. Donations through purchase of local artists' fashion, paintings, jewelry.

Where We're Going: Our Vision
It is our goal that NLS-sponsored programs gain increased recognition and funding in their own right, become role models for similar programs beyond California and have their good works replicated across the USA/internationally. We will offer a world-class non-profit model and expand our programs for the further enhancement of social responsibility.

Nova Lightsource is a non-salaried, philanthropic, non-profit corporation granted tax exempt status effective 2010 in compliance with sections 508(e) and 170(c) requirements, registrations and 990 filings.
